The Role
I really enjoyed my placement at IBM. I can really see the difference as to where I started to where I am now. I feel like I was given a lot of responsibility and opportunity to add real value to my team. Being given a lot of responsibility I have been able to develop so many skills that I know will help me in future no matter where I go.
Extremely, I feel like I did important work that my team needed and I was a crucial member of my team.
IBM try and give you a lot of support as you have your task manager and an Early Professionals Manager (EPM) to support your well being at IBM. However because of the structure of IBM you can find that your team is in another country etc so you don't have much support.
At the beginning of my placement I didn't have much to do, but this definitely picked up and at times I had too much work to do!
A lot or responsibility!
I'm definitely more disciplined with myself to always get my work gone. Ive also improve my communication skills and business acumen overall/
