The Role
Amazing experience, hard work and stressful at times but have provided me with a great learning opportunity
I felt very valued by my team and i felt that i could ask questions and suggest ideas
My manager offered me a lot of support and guidance and i could always explain any issues i had, however he was very busy so sometimes this was comprimised
Very busy, my work load was quite large, however i learnt to prioritize though this process
I was given a lot of responsibility, as it was a small team and i got to manage projects because of this
The experience has taught me how my degree is put into practice in a work enviornemnt
The Company
The morale was quite low at times as it was quite a stressful floor
The placement was very well organized, this is due to how many interns there are at The Walt Disney Company
I did Powerpoint and Keynote courses which were very valuable
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Very appealing, i would love to come back and work at Disney
The Culture
It was a good social scene as there are so many interns, however it also depends how many interns are on your floor, there wasn't many on mine which made it a little harder
High, Hammersmith it quite expensive to socialize in. Also commenting cost a fortune.
It was ok, mainly pubs
Disney have a volunteer program which you can apply for and be part of.
