The Role
It has been an honour to work in such as fantastic company. I have had the privilege of working with some inspiring people and feel enriched by the whole experience.
I felt like a fully fledged member of the team at all times.
In Leeds the mentoring process not only met but exceeded all expectations.
Everyone has their busy and quiet days. The beauty of this internship is that you get out what you put in. I always tried to involve myself and make sure I was always busy.
For one of our smaller accounts I was the main 'go to' for many jobs.
My professionalism, excel and team working skills have seen a vast improvement over the past 12 months.
The Company
We were a small office, like any small working environment you have your quiet and busy days. I like to think we made the most of it.
My internship was planned from start to finish with strict stages set to monitor progression and target setting.
Disney had a wide range of HR tools to develop my learning whilst on placement. I was also lucky to be mentored by a senior account manager and a senior commercial manager.
Flexi Time
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing, I wouldn't turn them down.
The Culture
I was isolated in a satellite office so no.
Cheap, I lived at home.
Leeds is decent, but I'd always go out in Huddersfield.
There were opportunities but these were mainly down in London.
