The Role
I enjoyed my placement as there were a lot of things to do so it kept me busy and proactive
I was not treated like a student but more an employee which helped me settle in well
My manager gave me support whenever I asked for it
I had tasks given to me daily which kept me busy throughout the whole day
I was given the same responsibility as my colleague
It has helped me improve on skills that I was lacking and also gaining an insight to my job role which is going to benefit and make it easier for me when I go back for final year
The Company
The atmosphere in my office was calm and friendly and everyone interacted with each other and had a laugh and a joke
The work placement organisation was good I had some handover notes given to me from the previous student which helped gain an insight in what I was going to be doing during my placement year
My manager enrolled me on to training programs to help me improve and learn some things
Company Parties/Events
Future employment prospects are quite appealing as I have gotten used to the way the company operates and there are much more things to learn
The Culture
The social scene amongst colleagues was good we arranged a Christmas meal so we can interact and get to know eachother outside of work
I commuted to work
Haven't been out in the area
Not much
