  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed my placement as there were a lot of things to do so it kept me busy and proactive

    • I was not treated like a student but more an employee which helped me settle in well

    • My manager gave me support whenever I asked for it

    • I had tasks given to me daily which kept me busy throughout the whole day

    • I was given the same responsibility as my colleague

    • It has helped me improve on skills that I was lacking and also gaining an insight to my job role which is going to benefit and make it easier for me when I go back for final year

    • The atmosphere in my office was calm and friendly and everyone interacted with each other and had a laugh and a joke

    • The work placement organisation was good I had some handover notes given to me from the previous student which helped gain an insight in what I was going to be doing during my placement year

    • My manager enrolled me on to training programs to help me improve and learn some things

    • Future employment prospects are quite appealing as I have gotten used to the way the company operates and there are much more things to learn

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • The social scene amongst colleagues was good we arranged a Christmas meal so we can interact and get to know eachother outside of work
