The Role
Had a great manager who did his best to get the most out of me... occasionally I had time where workload was light
I got on with everyone and felt I built good working relationships
Fully supportive manager throughout my whole placement, other managers often keen to help me but not all
Often had something to do but had times when I was particularly quiet
I have responsibility for my own projects and training others which was encouraged by my manager
With a better general understanding I now feel more confident to understand the industry and related aspects
The Company
Was often quite quiet and could lack an atmosphere which can be good but often was demotivating... however when atmosphere picked up it was very good and work was more enjoyable
To begin with my placement was unorganised due to manning issues however with a manager in place this improved greatly
I had good training formal and informal and general experiences gained will prove invaluable for my further development

International Travel
Would definitely consider back career with the company to some extent, in what role and where I am uncertain
The Culture
All students and some colleagues had various events where we could all socialise outside of work
I lived further out with my girlfriend so housing was fairly cheap, however it meant more fuel costs and travelling in order to socialise
We only went out a few times in the locality and it was okay, nothing special. However, Birmingham is nearby which offers a better Nightlife
Between he students and some colleagues we played 6 a side football and were looking into organising more but it never happened. If we as students don't organise things nothing happens
