The Role
The tasks that I did during the placement were not in one of my desired areas which has lead to such score. I have enjoyed the fact that I had a real life experience and learned using excel and SAP to a high standard however I was not fully satisfied with the job role.
The communication between and my colleagues was limited. Lack of colleague chemistry. At least in my department.
Some support but mainly I had to learn on the job.
With time the tasks were increasing however I could take up more.
I was fully responsible for my area.
The skills will definitely help me in the future as my CV will stand out at some point. The skills gained and the fact that I have completed the placement have already helped me secure an interview for a part time role in Finance when I go back to the University
The Company
Quiet and I did not much talk to the other colleagues unless I had a query.
No handover period and structure of the tasks
I did not recieve any training apart from the folder with instructions left by the previous student.
As long as you go into the correct department the career prospects are good such as the Graduate and VIE scheme.
