The Role
Really enjoyable, gained a lot of useful experience about industrial working life.
I feel very valued, and what I was doing was really helping the team and the company.
Whatever the problem there was always someone I can go and speak to, to give support.
I haven't had any days where I feel there isn't something useful I should be doing.
I feel as if I have been given plenty of responsibilities, and that want I am doing is needed and important.
I feel the improvement to my analytical skills and communication skills with both internal and external contacts. Will be very useful in the future life.
The Company
Very good atmosphere in the office. There was always something going on and great characters to be working with.
At the start it was slow to get into different tasks (mainly due to allowing me to get used to the company and working environment) but quickly I was given plenty to do and was working independently. No need to go and ask for jobs.
It feels they have well invested in me with training about different aspects of the role so if someone is off or needs support I am able and I am also able to train and support new colleagues about the various software or processes used.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I am really contemplating working for the company in the future and working my way up the ladder.
The Culture
We have organised some outings with the fellow students and work colleagues. There have also been a few days where we spontaneously meet up after work which have been good.
The cost of living was more that around university but I have moved to a higher cost area. But the wages are plenty to cover these costs and I have also been able to save plenty every month.
I do not know about the nightlife around the area as I'm not that kind of person.
There are some activities organised which you can get involved in. Also if you feel there is something new you might want to arrange the company seems very willing to arrange it, if you can find people willing to join.
