The Role
Really liked my placement but mostly because of the people.
Felt quite valued at work but very valued as part of the team.
Support was available if you asked for it.
Some days very busy others very relaxed.
Responsibility built as the placement progressed.
Helpful for networking and other transferable skills.
The Company
Very fun atmosphere.
Poor clarity sometimes over what we would be doing as you have no choice over what project you get put on.
Was given Excel, Jira and Agile training.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Appealing but will still look elsewhere to assess options.
The Culture
I was only with 1 other intern during the bulk of my placement with an offsite client so hard to judge.
Was reasonably expensive however hotel and food was paid for.
Didn't have a chance to go to many places but seemed good.
Lots of availability.
