The Role
Really good. I was given interesting work and some responsibility that was expected of an experienced first year. Good balance between work and socialising.
I felt really valued, and this was shown in the work I was given.
I was given great support and guidance, which allowed me to seek responsibility in the knowledge that if I needed help, I genuinely knew it would be available.
I was never too busy, and the work I was given was really interesting.
The same as an experienced first year graduate would be expected to have.
The one week induction was really good on making sure the interns had the key skills needed for the job. This was reinforced during the internship through on the job learning.
The Company
Slightly boring...
Really well organised, eg. my schedule was pre-determined, I always had enough work to do. The joiner process was repetitive though and long.
There was general training in the induction week on key skills, with more guidance and support given whilst I was working - this was more specific to me.
