About You
It was a fantastic experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome in my team. I got a great insight into the world of a commercial lawyer.
I felt very valued during my time. People were grateful when I did work for them and most of my work felt meaningful. Only on rare occasions did I have the feeling I was given work for the sake of it.
Everybody from the partners to the trainees were very supportive, both in leading up to and during my internship.
The skills I have learned here will help me in the future, be that in a law firm or anywhere else.
The Company
It was very well structured. I always knew what I had to do and I had long as well as short term goals. At the same time there was enough flexibility to allow for choices to be made.
The atmposhere was fantastic. Everyone was approachable, friendly and helpful.
We had an entire week in London, inlcuding free accomodation, where we were able to talk to industry leaders, clients and members of the firm. We had pannel discussions, simulations and other exiciting group tasks. I never expected a firm to invest this much in future talent.
I know have a very good idea about the life of a trainee. Importantly they showed me both the exiciting, but also the more dull aspects of the job. Something that I find very important.
I feel I know have an excellent grasp of the company culture.
I know have a good idea whether I want to become a commercial lawyer, or not
Everything Else
There were good oppurtunities to network. More in the first week than in the latter two.
The socials were great and a lot of gun.
I learned about some of the activities.
Definitely, I would say it is the best vacation scheme available.
