    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I loved the three weeks that I spent here. I gained a great understanding as to what the firm expects from its intakes and also the manner in which it conducts its business. I couldn't speak more highly for it.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Especially in the last week when the team were busy, I was extremely valued. I was helping on a transaction and the other side were contacting me directly to make sure everything was in order. If that isn't considered being part of the team I don't know what is!

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • I had a lot of support. If I had any questions whatsoever about a task I would just go up to the person who gave me the task and ask as any questions as I wanted.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I gained a lot of communication, time management and drafting skills. These will assist me in whatever field I go into.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very stuctured in the first week where we had a timetable of all of the events that we were attending. The second and third week were less so but this is due in part to the different departments that we were all in.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • So relaxed. Everyone got along really well and I haven't encountered someone that I could have a chat to.

    • They have invested a lot in us this year. This included getting an external team in to assist with the process to develop us as individuals.

    • I undertook real work and therefore that has helped me hugely in deciding my future career.

    • Yes

    • Drink events, social events and just stopping to have a chat meant that there were a wide range of opportunities.

    • They were extensive and a great change of pace.
