About You
The vacation scheme was amazing. The socials that were organised were delightful and helped us get to know the other vacation schemers better as well as extend our network within the firm. The work was of a high level and is a testament to the trust that the firm places in its employees.
The supervisors, graduate recruitment team and people in the departments made an effort to integrate us into the firm. I was invited to client meeting, drinks and sports. It was definitely not a case of being just another number.
Our supervisors were always on hand to assist with any enquiries and were friendly and welcoming. The graduate recruitment team were excellent and there was never a situation where support was needed and not given.
I was taught how to do work in a way that is practically beneficial to clients which will be very useful when working as a trainee. I was given advice about soft skills such as business networking and improved my research skills.
The Company
The insight was very structured. We knew what we were going to do every day right from the beginning. We had a number of socials, networking events and workshops.
The atmosphere was far more friendly that I had anticipated. Everyone I met was approachable and willing to talk. The other vacation schemer and trainees were lovely.
Most of the tasks I was asked to do were tasks that a trainee would be asked to do so it gave me an insight into how life would be like as a trainee. The events gave an insight into the people at the firm
The insight helped me understand how the firm treats its employees and this is very important to me.
Very valuable. It consolidated my decision.
Everything Else
There were many opportunities.
