Women in Technology Insight Week Review

I really enjoyed the insight as I was able to get a real sense of what it would be like to work in technology at KPMG and I had lots of networking opportunities.

I felt valued during the insight as we were treated like part of the team and everyone was happy to ask any questions we had about the company.

I received a lot of support during the insight. There was always someone available to ask questions if I was unsure about something.

During the insight I was able to develop really valuable

The insight was well-structured as we always knew what was planned for the day and stuck well to the schedule

The general atmosphere was really exciting and positive.

As it was an insight week, it was really appropriate to receive training but I was able to use some software and learn more about technology and some information about data analytics, coding and hardware which was interesting.

The insight was really helpful in helping me understand what it would be like to have a full time role at KPMG because we were able to ask questions to different employees at different levels about the work that they do and we also had the opportunity to do work shadowing which was incredibly useful.

After taking part in the insight, I am really impressed with the culture at KPMG because it is a really people centric firm and they care a lot about the experience of their employees and their personal development and career path.

The insight was really useful in helping me assess whether or not I would consider working at KPMG or just generally in technology in the future. Before the insight I didn't know much about the role that technology played in the KPMG but now I have much more of a detailed understanding of the different technology roles in KPMG

KPMG was really good at ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to take part in the insight as travel expenses are reimbursed and there is also a payment for the insight week.

Yes, there were plenty of opportunities to network as we had carousels where we got to speak to people in different areas of technology and meet employees from graduate level to director which was great.

The networking opportunities were really useful as we were able to hear about the career stories of different employees and what their experience at KPMG has been like.

Yes, I was surprised and pleased to find that their are lots of activities that employees can get involved with outside of work and there is a good work-life balance.

Yes I would definitely recommend this insight to anyone considering working at KPMG or who wants to learn more about technology within KPMG.
