About You
I enjoyed the insight very much and it was very helpful for me to find out more about KPMG.
I felt very valued because they took care of me very well along the week and there were activities planned very carefully throughout the week, so it made me believe that this insight week was very well thought through.
There was a lot of support from the KPMG student recruitment as they answered any queries that you've got and tried their best to make sure everyone is comfortable.
The communication and teamwork skills that I have been developing from day one of the week will definitely be useful for my life. The problem solving and analytic skills will be useful for my problem-based learning sessions in my degree and also in my career.
The Company
As I said before, the activities throughout the week was very well planned and interesting, so I thought it was quite well structured and that they have really put their thought into this insight.
The atmosphere was very nice and cosy. The people were supportive and approachable, so I think generally, the atmosphere was really good.
There was not much personal training but skills development was invested in me.
The work shadowing day really helped in understand the full time role of the firm and stories from seniors also really helped with that.
To a great extent as a lot of career stories were shared with us.
I would say very valuable because it made me look at the technology role in a new way and I find it appealing to me now and I would actually want to work in a technology related career.
Everything Else
I was paid for the insight week and my travel expenses from Manchester to London was reimbursed.
Yes there were because they had a carousel where we met many employees and I met the enterprise team as well during my work shadowing day.
There were great opportunities.
Yes they had bowling and hiking.
Yes I would. It was really helpful to me.
