The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Savills, at all levels throughout the organisation I found the working environment friendly and everyone was willing to answer the various questions I had.
I felt valued by my colleagues as during my experience my supervisor attempted to involve me in various activities within the firm as much as possible.
I was given on-going and numerous support as it relates to explanations of how various technical aspects of surveying operated and in regard to receiving guidance when it was asked for
Every day I found myself occupied with work and numerous tasks

Savills is an excellent firm to work for, the firm has a very inclusive culture, largely in part due to the fact that the firm is British owned. Savills is also involved in market leading instructions providing young surveyors with a broad array of opportunities and engaging career work. I will undoubtedly be applying for their graduate scheme.
The Culture
There was a good social scene. We managed to get to know one another through a Savills arranged networking drinks session, also we kept in touch with one another through our self-created what's app group. Savills also arranged a rounder's social event in Regents Park, which further gave us another opportunity to improve our professional relationship.
There were not major issues as it pertains to the cost of living as Savills provided remuneration for the duration of the summer internship with the firm. Furthermore, Savills covered the cost of travel related to business operations, for instance following a viewing in Central London my travel was reimbursed by my Savills supervisor.
London is rightly famed for its nightlife, from the world-class theatres, bars and clubs of the West End to the alternative Camden scene, or a trendy night out in Shoreditch in the East. London's nightlife scene caters for all tastes, be it comedy, theatre or music, there will always be somewhere to party the night away.
