The Role
Learnt lots of valuable things, great company to work for, really good perks too.
My team appreciated the work I did for them and didn't treat me like and intern.
Support was given but it needed to be asked for on many occasions.
There were times within the year where I was much busier than others but overall it was a good balance.
Given much more responsibility than expected. I was making decision that effected the business.
There were very small sections of my job that are related to my degree but it has helped me to realize what I want to do when I graduate
The Company
Normally a very positive atmosphere in the office.
Very well structured scheme throughout the year. Only thing lacking was contact time with HR throughout the placement.
I had lots of opportunities to go on different training courses but sometimes this had to be pushed from my side.

I have unofficially been offered a graduate job.
The Culture
A large amount of interns in quite a remote seaside town made it hard to socialize. Interns based in the EC office had more events put on for them.
Much more expensive than university accommodation.
Closest place is Brighton, 45 min taxi ride.
Volunteering three days a year.
