The Role
I absolutely loved my placement and I would definitely recommend this to everyone as I had a lot of different experiences
Everyone loved me
Everyone helped me when asked for help and always guided me the right path for more development and opportunities
The start of my placement was not as busy however as soon it hits new year it was very busy and I enjoyed it
I was given responsibilities for different projects which was great
I believe it will very help as I never had any office based experience and nor presentation skills - all very valuable for myself in the future
The Company
Marketing is a great fun team and department and definitely as well as being serious towards work we had a lot of fun including team building activities and events.
I believe more induction could have been provided and to start not much work was given as the managers had no idea what to give me to do...but over the past year this has been improved and hopefully will continue
The company is very keen to get its intern successful and helped with all training available, I was put onto courses such as PowerPoint, excel, presentation and conflict management which was paid from my department. All training provided was key in terms of skills development.
