The Role
A phenomenal work place and environment. A lot of opportunities to venture out into different areas within the business and meet many people.
As an intern you are treated just as well as any other employee. You are given real work, responsibility and targets.
The guidance from my manager has been great. Sometimes it did feel I had to learn on my own feet. But there are plenty of support networks throughout the company.
I was kept very busy throughout the year. This has been challenging, but reflecting back has been nothing but beneficial. The amount of learning there has been, is simply phenomenal !
a lot
It has given me genuine insight into the working environment. I have been able to challenge some of the theory I learnt and also apply a lot of it.
The Company
Very relaxed and laid back.
Very well organised, but there wasn't necessarily an exact structure. This did allow me to tailor my year how I considered most beneficial though.
A lot of the training and development was hands on, through my own experiences. Not much was formal reflection, but I always had mentors to reflect on my work with.

The Culture
Yes, we had 60 interns, and would do socials at least weekly !
I was based in London, which was very expensive ! but there is a lot of free stuff do.
There are several bars just outside of work. Notting hill, soho and Shoreditch are also very close for a nigh out.
Yes, some people went abroad with the football team. There were also subsidised activities for us to attend.
