  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Really great experience, met lots of amazing people and got a great insight into the company.

    • The staff made me feel very welcome, and did well at integrating the whole group.

    • Lots of guidance and support - there was someone the answer any questions I had.

    • Really good general insight into the company. On improvement may be to have an ongoing project throughout the week to help everyone build upon their employability.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured. Everything followed the pre-determined scheduled perfectly.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Very good - as I mentioned, the staff did an amazing job at getting everyone speaking at the beginning of the week and integrating the whole group.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • They arranged various talks throughout the week and for members of each service line to come in at different points. As good as it can get for only spending a week there.

    • Lots of information about the company, but not chance to see what an actual work day would be like. Although employees were more than happy to explain themselves.

    • Lots of employee Q&As helped me understand the culture quite well. As well as talking to the employees at the networking dinner.

    • It was really good and helped me understand what it would be like working at a large company like Deloitte.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • They reimbursed all of our expenses + food and put everyone in a local hotel, 5 minutes from the office.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Lots of Q&As throughout the week with various employees. Many employees hung around after case studies to answer questions.

    • Okay - there could have been more employees at the networking dinner.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Yes - we found out about charity schemes and the continued education that Deloitte can provide.

    • Definitely.
