The Role
My experience as an IBM intern has been extremely rewarding and positive.
Throughout the year I felt that people cared about my experience and personal development and tried to cater to my needs and expectations.
My manager has been extremely supportive since the beginning and has always been available and more than willing to guide me and provide help to the best of her ability.
I was involved in a variety of projects and tasks, but I also had time to reflect on my learning and take part in free online courses provided by the company.
I had responsibility and I was encouraged to take ownership of some of the projects that I was involved in. This helped me develop my leadership and communication skills and will absolutely prove useful in my future career.
I feel that everything I learned and experienced at IBM during my placement will be very helpful moving on with my academic and professional career.
