The Role
Really enjoyed it, especially towards the end.
Definitely feel valued within my team but each team can be slightly different.
My team as a whole gave me support and guidance that i really valued however my actual manager did not provide me with that much structure or support. Perhaps another member of the team should have been my manager.
This can be very varied. Sometimes i can be rushed off my feet and others day i can be quite quiet. The first couple months felt a bit slow but the last 6 months have been great and have been involved in lots of projects.
The right amount of responsibility was given. Enough to feel you are trusted and your opinion matters but supported at the same time.
The skills I have learnt are invaluable and will help me both future jobs and my final at uni.
The Company
Relaxed, friendly and a great place to work.
Fairly well although wasn't sure who to contact in HR apart from a placement student who was in charge of the programme.
I have been given the opportunity to go on multiple training courses and my team took time to really help develop my skills.

I would really like to come back to the company but feel the graduate training programme they offer if not up to the standard of their placement scheme. The lack of graduate opportunities is something that is a real shame about the company and i think many placement students would like to return. The graduate scheme is fairly new still so hopefully this will be expanded and developed in the years to come.
The Culture
Yes, lots of placement students so plenty of people to organise social events with
Better than London prices but with the benefit of only being a half an hour train away from the city.
If you're looking to go out all the time this probably isn't the area for you but they are plenty of pubs and bars around.
My team arrange a few social events outside of work but this depends on the team. The placements students also arrange events too.
