About You
It was a well thought out programme that gave good insight into the firm both nationwide but also in the specific office I applied for. I also met wonderful people in my time there.
In the two weeks I sat in two different seats and felt that the work I undertook actually had a purpose. It wasn't purely administrative work and I could understand what my contribution to each task was and why it mattered.
There was no point where a task was not explained to me. It was also a comfortable enough environment to ask questions.
It was practical experience in a law firm which shall undoubtedly help me in my future career as a lawyer.
The Company
As it was a new programme, there were undoubtedly areas of improvement but overall it was an extremely well structured programme that I will value for life. In terms of areas of improvement I would suggest less time in London (a day less) and more time in the local office. The first week at the local office feltnlkke a solid week but he second week felt short because of presentations and with the decision to be kept on being on the last day. So my regret is that I didn't get the same time in week 2 as in week 1.
Very friendly environment.
I felt as though I was well invested in in my time there. I had good discussions with my supervisors.
It was easy to see how life at the firm would be long term. It was a very comfortable atmosphere and the open plan office made it easier to see what people at different levels got up to.
Again, very friendly atmosphere and I could tell it was naturally a positive place to work.
Having exposure to two different departments during the scheme was great as it gave an opportunity to understand the mechanics of those departments. Wish I was able to experience more departments however.
Everything Else
Expenses and pay were positive aspects
Numerous opportunities aided by the fact everyone was friendly
A couple of events were organised but wish there had been more 'out of office' experiences and gatherings
Didn't really Find out this information.
Absolutely, it was a fantastic opportunity
