    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was a great opportunity and I had a great time. I got involved with lots of exciting things and I was pushed out of my comfort zone but there was always people there to support me

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • I felt like a true member of the team and I was given meaningful work which had an impact on the team and the wider business

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • My manager and team were always there for me but they let me make my own decisions and let me suggest my ideas. I never felt like I was being "managed".

    • The workload was a good balance, I always had something to do

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given so much more responsibility than I ever would have thought! I have had the opportunity to lead projects and make my own decisions knowing that I had a supporting team behind me.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I have learnt so much at my time here and I have really grown as a person and become more confident in my abilities. I feel like I can tackle so much more now!

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Great office environment. Serious when it needs to be but there is always some laughing and joking and people having a nice chat

    • Well organised. Everything was set up for me when I arrived and there were organised training days throughout the year

    • I been pushed out of my comfort zone throughout my whole year and I have done things which I never would have thought myself capable to do
