    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Deloitte is a very welcoming environment. The staff there are very helpful and enthusiastic about having you there. Deloitte structures the activities/work in a way were you learn, have fun and get to know the team at the same time. In my opinion it is a fantastic place to work.

    • Deloitte are always encouraging you to get involved with everyone. They introduce themselves to you in a friendly manner, that can help you to get used to the environment.

    • Deloitte staff were always there on hand to help in any way they could. They made sure everyone knew what they were doing and if they were comfortable doing it.

    • I have learnt a lot from the activities and work that took place at Deloitte. It will be very beneficial in the future.

    • The insight was very structured. Deloitte knew what they needed to do and when to do it.

    • The general atmosphere at Deloitte was fantastic. They made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their experience there.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Deloitte made sure that all people that were present were included in the activities and the way the activities were planned ensured that all present interacted with everyone. This brought me out of my comfort zone and made me realise what I am capable of.

    • It made me understand what the roles at Deloitte where like to work in and how they operate. It also made me understand that if I started working at Deloitte I would have the help and support at hand to adjust to the work assigned.

    • The insight made me realise that the company culture is very good. Deloitte promotes inclusion and encourages you to realise your potential.

    • The content of the day was extremely valuable. The activities were very different to my academic life which I wouldn't have experienced other wise.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • This was because I did not need reimbursing. However if it was necessary then Deloitte did reimburse.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes there were. There were a lot of valuable speaker who gave us insight and inspiration.

    • Yes. At Deloitte they offer activities outside of the work environment that made it easier to balance work and social time.

    • I would absolutely recommend the Deloitte insight to a friend. I think it would be a fantastic opportunity for anyone.
