The Role
I really enjoyed my placement very much. My line manager is very supportive.
The office has a very friendly atmosphere. They all welcomed questions.
My project supervisor looked at my work and answered my questions.
There is a very good balance between geology and engineering in the office, It was great to learn about geology. I wasn't too busy. I had sufficient work. The first day was a little boring because of all the inductions, but that is normal.
I was given responsibility to finish some desk studies.
The experience gave me confidence and I now know how consultancies work. I am hoping to join my supervisor on a ground investigation trip.
The Company
