The Role
SAP is an extremely forward thinking and exciting company to work for. From the coffee corners with all sorts of treats to the late nights working every part of it, be it in different ways, is amazing.
You are not seen or labled as an intern, there are more internship (Placement year) jobs you will have to do... but everyone has to start somewhere. You are seen as a full time employee, you will have your own role and responsibilities, if you are truly looking for a placement year to gain experience and grow as a person about to start a career then SAP is what you want to be applying for.
My team had a collective 60 year + experience so support was never far away, guidance was of course given but i was never micro-managed, if i make a mistake, with support, i need to sort it.
On a 'daily' basis not bad but it is a quarterly run business therefore end of each quarter are ridiculously busy (depending on the role).
I was given my own responsibilities and never micro managed.
Time management, work ethic and ability to compile complex information will most definatly assist in my final year of studies!
