The Role
Very much enjoyed the placement: Was thrown in to real current work, meaning I was actively contributing to projects.
My work came over as very much valued to my colleagues. Even though I am not as qualified, it felt as if I was contributing to the work at their level. Everyone was very welcoming and very friendly also.
Cant fault the help and guidance given to me by all colleagues! All were willing to pass their knowledge on.
Up to my neck in work, I have had no dull moment where I haven't had work to do. This is a good thing.
Large amounts of responsibility, which increased with time on the placement. Towards the end of my time, I was trusted in creating documents to go straight to the client.
Will be a huge help, not to mention confirming my interest in this choice of career.
The Company
Very friendly and very welcoming, everyone made an effort to ask how I was doing.
Very well organised, I was always doing something.
The placement was payed and I was given much advice on what my next step should be.
Very appealing, and I have realised that this is a place where I would like to work,
The Culture
Very good socially, everyone has been welcoming and chatty.
Centre of Birmingham is expenisve, but luckily I live closeby, hence the cost is cheap for me. But the placement is payed so any costs may be covered.
Nightlife in Birmingham is big, but since on placement, have been too tired to go out!
There are out of work activities with the organisation, but I have not got involved.
