The Role
It was very enjoyable, I was given a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.
My colleagues made an effort to make me feel welcome and part of the team.
I was given outstanding support by my supervisor, I felt well looked after.
Fairly, it varied depending how much work the office as a whole had.
A good amount proportionate to how much experience I had in the industry.
The skills I have gained will really help with the next 2 years of my degree and will benefit me in future employment roles.
The Company
Friendly atmosphere, quiet in the civils department as everyone works very hard.
Was pretty well organised, they had a number of experiences lined up for me.
I got to learn a lot of new skills, they did not hesitate to teach me new things which I had not seen before.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Very appealing, would be a great organisation to work for.
The Culture
There was only one other placement student who was in a different department so this does not apply.
Affordable because I was staying with my parents, otherwise could be quite expensive.
Very good, good student scene.
There were a few but they did not appeal to me.
