  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was very enjoyable, I was given a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

    • My colleagues made an effort to make me feel welcome and part of the team.

    • I was given outstanding support by my supervisor, I felt well looked after.

    • Fairly, it varied depending how much work the office as a whole had.

    • A good amount proportionate to how much experience I had in the industry.

    • The skills I have gained will really help with the next 2 years of my degree and will benefit me in future employment roles.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Friendly atmosphere, quiet in the civils department as everyone works very hard.

    • Was pretty well organised, they had a number of experiences lined up for me.

    • I got to learn a lot of new skills, they did not hesitate to teach me new things which I had not seen before.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There was only one other placement student who was in a different department so this does not apply.

    • Affordable because I was staying with my parents, otherwise could be quite expensive.

    • Very good, good student scene.

    • There were a few but they did not appeal to me.
