The Role
Very enjoyable rotating throughout the different departments. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The majority of staff made a good effort to get to know me and make me feel welcome.
Limited guidance from mentor. Assigned mentor was on holiday so a replacement was drafted in who was only in the office for 2 of the 4 weeks.
I was kept relatively busy with personal tasks as well as many site visits outside of the office.
I was given a good amount of responsibility for the stage I am at with my University course.
I have developed my communication skills and commercial knowledge which will help massively when I go back to complete my final year of University.
The Company
Lively office with some fun characters.
Reasonably well. Only issue was lack of mentor at the beginning of my placement.
Most of the departments made a good effort to invest in me.
Company Parties/Events
Very good. Graduate opportunities are a very attractive prospect for the company and something I will be aiming to get myself involved with.
The Culture
Reasonably good. A drinks event was organised for me and a office networking event took place.
Fair.
Good, I am from Glasgow so I am aware of the great night life.
Very little. Aside from the drinks event and networking event there was little opportunity to get involved with activities outside of work.
