About You
I had an amazing week, it was absolutely packed full of really interesting talks and activities and we even got taken to Paris! The socials were equally amazing and I made some great friends.
Very valued, especially when in the practice areas on the Friday - I felt as though everyone really wanted to listen to what I had to say and that was a really nice feeling.
So much amazing guidance and support, from such a range of people: trainees, graduate recruitment, other business services, qualified lawyers and even some partners.
I can honestly say I will remember all of the advice given for the rest of my life, no matter which job I end up in.
The Company
Incredible, it had clearly taken a lot of planning and everything fit together so well. It was jam packed and our time was certainly used well.
Really lovely, the staff at the firm and the other Springboarders were just great and it made for a great week with lots of jokes and laughs.
So much time and resources were invested in us in many different aspects, whether that be technical legal development or working on our social skills.
The placement in the practice area on the Friday was like a proper day in the life of a lawyer in the firm and it was amazing to be able to experience this.
No matter who we spoke to, they were all being truthful and themselves. It really made me realise the true company culture because there is no way that everyone being fake, they were all just so lovely and didn't lie or sugar coat things.
Very valuable, it gave us a great overview of the whole firm and then details about certain specifics!
Everything Else
Paid £350 and will be reimbursed for taxi to the station on the day that we went to Paris.
At every breakfast, lunch and social event there were plenty of trainees and NQs to speak to and network with.
Incredible - they were really fun and so everyone was at ease and could speak freely and ask any questions that they might have.
Yes there were a few mentions of some things that employees do, although only when we asked about them.
Absolutely - the application progress is rigorous but it is definitely worth it, I hold memories I will never forget.
