The Role
It provided me with real work which I would be doing if I was a full time employee
Work I was doing was used by the whole team
I was given guidance when I needed it, but was also left to problem solve by myself
I was given a project to do for a long period of time rather then lots of little jobs
It was up to me to get the work done
Helped me greatly with seeing real work and to help develop technical skills
The Company
Due to project deadlines people in the office were always busy
Was organised very well, there were also a lot of interns
Some training was given, other bits were learned on the job
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
The company is expanding and hiring at the moment
The Culture
There were many interns and so people of the same age to socialise with.
Cambridge is expensive
Normal city nightlife
There were a few clubs related to work
