  • I was treated as any other associate, and was even able to lead client work as a placement student. This allowed me to develop further skills and confidence!

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support and guidance was available throughout the placement year, with a buddy and people manager. I never hesitated to speak to my managers about work or personal.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • there are obviously busy seasons and then quiet seasons. I would have liked to have more work in my team but I did still have enough to get on with.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I literally was running the show for some of my clients! I was the first point of contact for a financial controller at a FTSE 100 company. I led the work with my manager approving and reviewing.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • One of the best things I learnt here was Excel - something that will assist me throughout any job I do. I also had the opportunity to attend internal training for a couple of weeks which will really help for my final year at university and also my ACA qualification.
