  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Fantastic team & environment plus lots of opportunities to pursue personal projects.

    • Treated me like family and after a few months of learning my opinion was valued as much as anyone else's.

    • Whilst my manager did offer me help whenever I asked for it there was not as much proactive guidance as I would have liked. This was however delegated to the team.

    • The majority of the time I was very busy.

    • I was placed in charge of the largest project in my team.

    • More soft skills than technical knowledge but very valuable.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Whilst my team were always up for a laugh and had a great time together the actual office environment was worse than expected.

    • Superb apart from initially waiting 1 and a half months for my initial pay check/welcome bonus which made it hard to pay rent.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I was the only intern in my office which made it difficult however when all the interns got together we always had a good time.

    • Reading is expensive

    • Clubs in reading are ok but easy to get to London
