The Role
The placement year was fantastic, staff are very well treated, the hours are easy and the work is challenging but manageable
Very valued, you are treated as if you are one of the team
A lot of guidance is given, I had several line managers and although each was different they all gave me great feedback and support.
I was never bored and sometimes I was a little overwhelmed but as I worked there for longer I was able to manage larger workloads
A lot of responsibility, reporting trends and findings to senior members of staff and creating content for committee meetings.
Very little unfortunately, but the soft skills are useful.
The Company
A positive atmosphere but not the best banter
Very well organised although the communication between the contractor HR firm and LBG wasn't always the clearest
You're treated as if you are a permanent member of staff
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Working from home
Very appealing but the salary isn't the highest in the market
The Culture
Yes there was always things to get involved with after work
Expensive as I was based in London, but I wouldn't swap it for anything. There's nowhere else to be in your 20s, for job prospects and the social scene.
Great, although expensive
Lots of sports and social activities
