The Role
I loved every moment of it and learnt a lot about the industry.
I was given tasks from day one, and was entrusted with creating content that would be seen by clients from the first week.
They were open and eager to explain and give advice whenever I asked. Very happy to take me on site visits everday.
Some days there were dips in work to do, but on the whole there was a near constant stream of work to do.
Was entrusted to convers with clients and provide content for them. Also given tasks that involved personal research that would be used by the firm going forward.
Very much so. Good basis in understanding of real estate, and international markets. Both of which are key to my studies and future employment aspirations.
The Company
Very positive and friendly. Good dynamics amongst the team and between different teams.
Very well organised. Received the right training, desk set up on arrival with log-ins etc.
A lot. Good training in the computer software, and one on one conversations about present and future market and how it functions.
Above 25 days holiday
I would love to work at Savills after my studies. They have a clear vision of direction and I would be very keen to assist in their development.
The Culture
I was on my own as a student, but the team would often have lunch together, have a few drinks or share cake.
Cheaper than in the UK for sure!
Compared to London limited, but some lovely bars. A particular favourite was directly on the river bank.
A couple of good opportunities, however I missed one of them due to complication with my landlord. I was recommended many things to do whilst friends and families visited.
