The Role
I enjoyed every day of my internship, not a day went by that I wasn't grateful for the opportunity and the time of my seniors and fellow colleagues. This experience will stay with me and help me thrive in my career and future ambitions.
Since day 1. The day I came I was made to feel welcomed and part of the team. The professionalism and friendly nature of the team was there from the beginning to the end. Great atmosphere!
Fantastic support! I felt like a valued member of the team contributing to the works of the surveyors. The team always had time for me and despite being busy and pressured at times, had times to support me and answer my queries and questions.
Work varied day to day but it's down to the individual to keep themselves busy within their role in the internship. I always had something to do.
The team couldn't give as much responsibility as I would have liked understandably because as an Intern, we don't know anything but rather we are there to learn. However, there was a reliance upon me on completing the works set, and that too to the best of my ability.
I have developed myself in many ways throughout the internship and I am confident that this experience will go a long way in helping me thrive in my final year at university and in my future career.
The Company
A vibrant balance of getting work completed but also finding the time to have a light heartened conversation and a joke. Not too serious and not too 'full on banter'.
Couldn't fault it one bit! From start to finish it was superb! Very well Organised.
Investment of time, organisation and energy. Effort was made to ensure my questions were answered, my diary full and site visits scheduled in my calendar.
I have received good feedback from seniors and would like to have felt a good impression was left.
The Culture
Yes. Socials were organised by HR, the team and amongst the other interns.
London is London.
N/A
Yes, support societies were on offer. Didn't take up the opportunity.
