The Role
An incredibly enjoyable and challenging year
I worked as an integral member of my team and was made to feel like a well respected and useful colleague
Fantastic daily guidance and training, whilst also being allowed to work unassisted
Daily levels varied with the work being focused around month end and then quieter the rest of the month, however this allowed me time to work on ad-hoc projects
A large amount of responsibility, taking over our main reporting processes and also being involved in high profile projects
A huge focus was put on training and I have learned a huge amount of both technical and soft skills that will remain with me for the rest of my working career
The Company
A fantastic atmosphere in the office, with a largely young crowd of full time employees
Some areas for improvement but no issues were had over the year
A large amount of money was spent on the development of placement students with the aim to have them back as full time employees
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Very appealing with the possibility of progressing onto the graduate scheme
The Culture
Great social scene with a group of about thirty students all living/working in London at Lloyds
High costs due to living in London and working in Central London, however the salary is enough to cover this with good budgeting skills
Fantastic nightlife
A large number of sports clubs around and also some organised by members of the company
