The Role
On a day to basis not really. I enjoyed time I spent in other departments
My manager and a couple of colleagues have made an effort, other haven't. I do sometimes feel there are colleagues who will be happy when I leave.
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has been great and tried to include me, give me work, allowed me to travel, and advised activities to get involved in.
I rarely have enough/ any work despite asking multiple times in a day. Several days I have been left alone in the office with no work.
I have run a workshop with the team and created the teams HIVE page.
I've practiced skills I already had in a different environment but I don't feel I have learnt anything new really.
The Company
Good people seem to get on well in the office. It's a bit more serious than I am used to. Social activities appear not to be on the agenda.
It could have been better. As far as I am aware the team should have had a project for me to take possession of on arrival and this was not the case. The team are really too busy to accompany a new intern through multiple tasks. Most things I have done I have organised myself, which I am happy to do however I feel if I had been more occupied on a day to day basis then I wouldn't have felt I needed to organise going out so much.
The firm offers a lot on the whole and I am happy that I have been able to take advantage of them such as a service excellence workshop.
This is not the place for me and I am not the right sort of person for this role.
The Culture
yes we meet regularly.
Average. More expensive than home though.
Bristol is great!
The pub rally but only if your team was willing to get involved. Other events were outside the city.
