    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was an office. Not much more to say than that. People tended to be here to work. Even the innovation department seemed to have their innovative discussions elsewhere.

    3/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Well organised by the HR team. Although some mandatory sessions etc.. were not particularly useful.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Not particularly. A few training days were put on but the business as usual always takes over. However, I understand we are here to work rather than learn.

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Above 25 days holiday

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • For me personally, not high. I do not envisage myself working here. I would rather do something more tangible.

    2/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Everyone got drunk every Friday and Saturday if that is the question? I wouldn't say anything stood out as particularly great though.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London... Highly expensive. However the Bank did provide student-style accommodation in a very good location.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Again, London... Plenty to spend money on in a very short space of time.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Down to the individual. Nothing put on specifically by the employer if that is the question?

    3/5
