The Role
I was a amazing into into the world if banking and how different parts of the bank work
I felt like my colleagues did value me a lot I was invite to regular meetings, got to join in on discussions they were having they made me really welcome.
I had 121 every week discussing how I was feeling, improvements. strengths and weaknesses and if I was enjoying the placement.
I had really busy days on a lot of calls and meeting. When I was not attending meeting I had thing that I could to or tasks given to me to get on with.
I was given a huge responsibility to re-design and create content for a webpage in which thousand of people are going to see everyday
I developed a lot a skills such as team work ability in which I can more openly engage and speak to people more and work together to reach the end goal of a task. This will help me when I am set group tasks / projects. Also my confidence has increased a lot I am more confident within my own abilities and I able to stand up and present in front of people in which I would never do before.
The Company
it was a pretty chilled relaxed vibes. people are very friendly and welcoming. There were days when it would be quiet because people had a lot of work to do.
I think the internship was very well organised, there are always things to do.
they invested a lot of time I can regular catch up with people to help wit different areas that I needed to develop in
future employment prospects look very appealing
The Culture
Yess me and the team when out for regular socials and we had offsite days in which everyone can bond and network with each other
it was fairly expensive but not too expensive.
did not go out in this area very much
there were lot of opportunities
