The Role
It was really interesting, definitely very good insight into the world of engineering!
Everyone was incredibly welcoming and willing to teach you more!
My Line Manager was brilliant! Was always willing to teach me more about engineering and push my abilities with new tasks and projects.
Some days you felt like you had too much to do and others you could relax and just learn about engineering in Atkins.
I worked and contributed on real projects.
Both practical and technical skills were vastly developed.
The Company
Calm and Friendly.
I knew exactly who to turn to and where to go from day one.
I learnt about the company and developed my technical skills.
Very interesting company with lots of big projects.
The Culture
First Friday the whole department went to the pub together to welcome the new and say goodbye to those moving on. Very welcoming and caring company!
Student accommodation was readily available so you didn't have to break the piggy bank.
Birmingham has a great night life.
Not really but I was only there for 6 weeks.
