The Role
I enjoyed my placement a lot - lots to learn and the work was always different and changing.
Extremely, made me feel part of the team and really helped me to settle in
A lot of support - regularly chats to monitor my progress and a planned schedule to help me get a broad and deep understanding of the Group
Depending on who I was working alongside, the responsibility varied but in general it was a decent amount.
They will help me a lot as I became a quicker and more analytical thinker. I also learned how to manage my time better and how to also improve my organisational skills.
The Company
My office was quite empty but the people were always working hard with time for a quick chat every now and then All in all it was a nice vibe with friendly people
Very well organised - I knew were I was meant to be week in week out and always had my own work to sort out when I wasn't paired up to anyone
I did a lot of training on discover learning and had the opportunity to meet senior people in the bank which gave me insight, better understanding of the working world and the chance to get advice.
very appealing.
The Culture
yes there was, between the interns and graduates; there was a page on HIVE which allowed us to mingle, plan events and talk.
quite expensive.
