The Role
Enjoyed my placement from start to finish.
At Cummins they gave me real responsibilities, making me a valued member of the team.
my manager was very approachable and always gave support when needed
There were peaks and troughs with the work load, but on average I was busy.
Allowed to run my own small projects, and be involved in corporate wide projects too
I have developed my skills and gained so much experience that will assist me in my studies and future career
The Company
Generally good atmosphere, but could be more tense during busy times.
Great structure and program in place for students
We all received training on employability skills, also received some job specific training within my department
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
I would definitely return to Cummins
The Culture
Strong friendships created with the other students, especially through working directly with them on community projects and through socials
Very cheap
Not bad but not great
Opportunities available through the sports and social club. And through local amentities
