The Role
Settled in quickly and then the job went really smoothly.
Immediately felt part of the team, and participated in all team meetings from the start.
My manager wasn't there for the first 2 weeks, but my other colleagues were very helpful too.
Very busy towards the end.
I had control over the tools I was designing.
The programming skills will be useful in my computing projects this year at university.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly and interested in you.
We all had a tailored development plan which was reviewed every week.
A lot of time was spent in the first 3 weeks ensuring that I understood all about the programming languages.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Good, having completed an internship, I can go straight to the second round interviews if I were to apply for a graduate job.
The Culture
Not really, there were lots of trips to the pub but I didn't really socialize with the other interns apart from that.
Edinburgh is quite expensive, especially during Edinburgh Festival.
Edinburgh has a good nightlife scene.
Not so much in the Edinburgh office, but the London office has many more sports clubs etc to join.
