The Role
I really enjoyed my placement. I got a great experience of cyber security and saw many different areas and projects within PwC, and got to attend many interesting Cyber security events. The programme was very well organised and had lots of networking opportunities as well.
My colleagues welcomed me into the team very well, and gave me work where possible. Definitely people I would like to work with in the future.
My people manager was available to help whenever I needed.
Some projects it was more difficult to give me work and so I had shadowed. Sometimes ran out of tasks for me.
I was given some tasks, but was on projects for a short time thus was difficult to get very involved, or take responsibility for delivering something.
I think I learnt a lot of things relevant to my course, and that will hopefully be relevant to my future career.
The Company
Very well organised, however for certain areas, such as mine: Cyber security, a little less organised in terms of how it is structured across the business as a whole
