The Role
Really enjoyed it! The people were really friendly and welcoming, probably because of the open space environment.
Very much valued!
Had a lot of support in this job role from colleges and managers, from the simplest to the hardest of tasks. From start to finish I knew that I could ask just about anyone for help and I would get answers. Even got assigned a personal mentor to talk to about my progress.
I was kept busy with things to do most time but some task can become quite routine.
I was given a lot of responsibility for my individual project and the group project that was assigned. It really helped in getting to understand the real working environment.
It will help a lot because now I understand better what it's like in the working environment. This way I really get to know what job roles I would like to do and would not like to do in future.
The Company
It was an open space environment, even the director's offices were glass rooms so everyone could see each other. Everyone was super friendly from start to finish!
There wasn't any specific schedule set up as to what I was suppose to do on a regular basis as an intern, but there was always work available to do if I just asked.
I was taught how to do most of the tasks from the start and in addition to this I was also included in technical training as well which I attended for three days of a week.
Future employment prospects are very appealing in this company because they not only have internal role but they also have external opportunities that allow me to work with top companies such as AVAIVA and Virgin Media. A variety of training courses are also readily available depending on what career path I choose to follow.
The Culture
Yes, everyone got on well and quickly, even with the permanent staff.
Quite pricy but it's expected considering that it was based in central London.
I've never been in the area late.
Yes, many things to do in the area and easy access to public transport was there.
