The Role
i enjoyed my placement very much. i got on very well with everyone in my team. i feel i have learnt a lot during my career here and had fun doing so. I did not feel too much pressure from my seniors but did feel like i was making a valuable contribution.
i was indeed very valued by the team. i felt like my work was taken seriously as if not completed properly, it would have had many consequences. i was offered support when needed but also left to work independently.
Support and guidance was very good. I worked closely with my manager, as he offered constant feedback and encouragement. i had regular team meeting to discuss areas of business. my tasks were made very clear and feedback was easily given.
Started with very few tasks, which meant i was not very busy. as i developed my skills and picked up more tasks. therefore, the busier i became. At some times, deadlines were very relaxed which meant i could have picked up more tasks.
I believe i was given a lot of responsibility. If i made errors in my work, it would have impacted the business significantly.
the skills i have learned could defiantly help me in the rest of my career. i believe i have learnt a lot and developed as a person. The skills can easily be transferred to the rest of my university and professional career.
