The Role
Didn't ever felt like a burden though clearly at times I was as they had to explain to me what to do etc. Felt that I contributed to the overall result in all tasks
Supervisor and HR were always around if I wanted a chat, original meeting set out clearly what I wanted to achieve from the internship. I had an interim appraisal and a final appraisal to give me feedback and to ask my opinion.
There were times when there was no actualy work that I could do, but I was given access to training material that was useful and gave me a better understanding of what I would have to do if I went into accounting
The work I was done was reviewed and went into the finished report of some jobs. I was given the responsibility of updating intranet page, which involved writing a report on client feedback
The skills I developed will be useful regardless of the area I choose to work in, a residential training course on presentation skills with all the other interns will be particularly useful to me
The Company
sometimes had issues with the laptop i was given
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
And am currently working as a campus ambassador with them firm, promoting them at my unieversity
The Culture
slightly limitied in my office as you had to drive there and there were no other interns in my office
was invited to bday meals, company football tournament
