The Role
I really enjoyed my time at EY!
I was never treat like an intern, which made me feel a part of the team.
I was always given support by my team members. Whenever I was unsure about anything, I knew I could always come and ask. I was never left to complete a task on my own or without explanation.
I was always busy and never had a moment when there was nothing for me to do. There is always something to do for interns, whether it is project or non-project related work.
I can't say I was given lots of responsibility, but this is purely because I was inexperienced and most of the time lacked knowledge and skills. But, my team was always good at giving me as much responsibility as they could.
During my 6 weeks at EY I learnt more than I learnt during my 2 years at university!
The Company
Very friendly, but professional at the same time.
Very organized, instructions given on everything!
EY definitely invests in its people!
Company Parties/Events
Will stay with EY if they offer me a graduate position.
The Culture
Inters would always organize after work socials amongst themselves.
I worked in the London office, living costs were expensive.
Worked in Canary Wharf, its quite good with nightlife, there's bars and restaurants around.
There's lots of opportunities. Shame you do get a chance to try them a lot, as there is limited time. You need to balance project related work and other opportunities.
