The Role
I had such an amazing year at Adobe, i would recommend it to anyone.
Everyone at Adobe treat me like a part of the team, even the Directors. I was always involved in team meetings, outings and nights out.
I had weekly meetings with manager who was approachable and supportive in all aspects of the job.
At times i was very busy, such as when organising big events, while still having my day-to-day responsibilities. However i enjoyed taking on more and more respinsibility and liked to be busy. If i felt the workload was getting too much i could always discuss it with my managers.
I was given a lots of responsibility throughout the year, from producing ads to organising Adobes presence at large industry events. I was made to feel comfortable that i could ask for more.
I believe my placement year gave me so many skills that will no doubt help me achieve a better degree and get a head start in my career. Not only did i learn skills to use in marketing but also developed my personality enormously and grew in confidence.
The Company
The office could sometimes be quiet but there was always a friendly and open atmosphere. Adobe have now moved to a brand new office which, after seeing the plans and building before i left, i imagine will be amazing.
I felt that my job roles were clear and had managers in place for each aspect of it.
I was given the same training as regular staff and had the opportunity to do further training in areas i felt necessary.
Sports and Social Club

Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday

Healthcare from home
It is not common for Adobe to take people on after they graduate but i do believe they would offer a position to the right person, if one was available at the time.
The Culture
Adobe only have 2 interns at a time but there are oppirtunities to spend time socially with other colleagues.
Rent in Uxbridge was quite expensive, and obviously socialising in London wasnt cheap! The salary was enough to live quite comfortably though.
Uxbridge didnt have a very good nightlife but London was so close.
Adobe had teams such as cycling and groups of colleagues running marathons etc.
